Mary K. Foote age 54 of Selmer, TN, was born August 26, 1961 in Northridge, CA, the daughter of the late Edwin Lee and Jean Anna Weirup Prather. She was united in marriage to William Mark Foote on October 18, 1980. Mrs. Foote was constant in her spreading of breast cancer awareness and God’s word. She was currently pastoring at Clarkrange United Methodist Church in Clarkrange, TN and Dorton United Methodist Church, Crossville, TN. In the past she was pastor at Crump UMC in Crump, TN and then at East End UMC in Savannah, TN. Mrs. Foote departed this life on August 12, 2016 in Carrollton, Georgia at the age of 54 Years, 11 Months, 17 Days.
She is survived by her husband Mark Foote of Selmer, TN; two sons, Adam Foote and wife Jenna of Adamsville, TN and Michael Foote of Selmer, TN; a brother, Lloyd A. Prather of Ramer, TN; a sister, Dorothy Mohundro of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Foote was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Prather.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude.
