Mrs. Lola “Millinea” Newbern Darby, 89, a native of Lauderdale County, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at ECM Hospital. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 01, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Greg Burnett officiating.
Mrs. Darby was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert T. Darby, Sr.; grandchildren, Samantha Thompson-Darby, and Andrew Darby; brother, Willard Newbern; sister, Helen McCormick.
She is survived by her sons, Robert T. Darby, Jr. (Barbara), Kenneth W. Darby, David R. Darby (Sharon), Randal L. Darby (Judy); daughter, Susan D. Morris (Gary); grandchildren, Roseanna Thacker (Johnnie), Glenn Darby (Valerie); Kristi Misenheimer (Darryl), Melissa Darby, Micah Green (Melody), Matthew Green (Audra), Dustin Darby (Heather), Jared Darby, Josh Darby, Alex Darby, Trace Morris, Logan Morris, John T. Steele, and Suzanne Wynn; great grandchildren, Nichole Darby, David Darby, Hannah Hall, Colton Misenheimer, Seth Misenheimer, Alea Green, Levi Green, Madelyn Green, Max Green, Jeffrey Wynn, Jordan Steele and Jackson Steele,; great-great grandchildren, Kyle Ortez, Bryson Parrish, Andrew, Claire and Samuel Eddins.
Active pallbearers will be Jared Darby, Josh Darby, Dustin Darby, Larry George, Jerry Duke, Gerald Newbern, Tommy George, and Tommy Hill.
Honorary pallbearers will be Trace Morris, and Logan Morris.
