Funeral for Minnie Lou Reeves, 80, of Trinity will be today, July 27, 2016, at noon at Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Agee officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reeves, who died Monday, July 25, 2016, at her residence, was born Sept. 15, 1935, to James E. Sowers and Sally Segars. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, fishing and spending time with grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Junior Reeves; and daughter, Wanda Kay Parker
Survivors include three sons, William Donald (Sheila) Reeves, Bobby Ray Reeves and David Douglas (Jannie) Reeves; two daughters, Sandra Lee (Rabbit) Peebles and Vonda Denese (Melvin) Floyd; brother, Charles (Janice) Sowers; four sisters, Gail (McMurley) Norton, Stella Jones, Ann Aldridge and Judy Sheets; eight grandchildren, Tonya Terry, Miranda Hutto, Jennie Terry, Gannon Peebles, Brian Reeves, April Parker, Kay Creel and Brandon Reeves; 17 great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
