Betty-Bizarth-1468251882Mrs. Betty Smith Bizarth, age 90 of Boaz, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on Sunday, July 10, 2016.

Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Boaz Carr Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 until 11a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Pallbearers will be Tyler Boone, Steve Carroll, Terry Duvall, Keith Hefner, Bob Martinez and Patrick Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eli Martinez and Jeff Chandler.

She is survived by:
Son: Charles Allen Bizarth (Cynthia)
Daughters: Kathy Lee Bizarth & Suzanne Bizarth Hefner
Grandchildren: Kathryn Bizarth Carroll (Steve), Charles Christian Bizarth, Jillian Hefner Boone (Tyler), Anna Claire Hefner
Great-Grandsons: Colby Garrett Lang (Robin) & Jesse Caylon Lang
Great Great-Granddaughters; Ellie Nova Lang & MaKinzi Nova Lang
Numerous Nieces & Nephews
Special Caregivers: Genny “Ethel” Johnson & Zula Mintz

Parents: Robert Allen Smith & Martha Lee Posey Smith
Granddaughter: Kelsey Nicole Hefner
Sister: Bonnie L. Rudd
Brother: Robert T. Smith

Mrs. Bizarth was employed at various businesses in Washington, DC
and in Alabama. She met her husband, Elmer while employed at Camp
Seibert near Attalla, Alabama where he was stationed in the U.S. army
toward the end of World War II. She was an expert bowler, and had a
special passion for growing plants and her English Garden. She loved
animals and homeless animals were particularly attracted to her and her
hospitality. She leaves a wonderful legacy, and many friends and family
members who loved her and will miss her.
