Roberta Grissom Willis, 61, of Kossuth, MS, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born in Booneville, MS on December 14, 1954 to the late Grover Lee Grissom and Laurine Coker Lambert. Roberta was an Ole Miss graduate with a degree in accounting. She was retired from Caterpillar Industries. She loved to read and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. She deeply loved her cocker spaniel Buster. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 PM on Thursday, July 7, 2016 and 11 AM till service time on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home A celebration of Roberta’s life will be held at 11 AM Friday, July 8, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Bro. Don Green. Interment will follow in Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Donovan Augustine, Wesley Brooks, Bobby Coker, Tim Butler, Benny Cooksey and Stanley George. Honorary pallbearers include Robert Rider and Danny Doss. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Roberta is survived by the love of her life, her husband: Gilbert Willis of Kossuth; four sisters: Linda Duncan (Wayne) of Rienzi, Loretta Augustine of Cairo, MS, Ramona George (Stanley) of Corinth, and Brenda Wooten (Ronnie) of Chickamauga, GA; her brothers-in-law: David Willis (Leann), Dan Willis (Katherine); her sisters-in-law: Sandra Downs (J.D.), Kim Butler (Tim); her mother-in-law: Ethel Hall (Ernest); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
