MUSCLE SHOALS-Colonial Life located at 404 Avalon Avenue, Suite 206 in Muscle Shoals held an open house and ribbon cutting.  The Shoals Chamber was on hand to help with the celebration.  Friends and family were on hand to help welcome Colonial Life to Muscle Shoals.  The Shoals Chamber welcomed  Colonial Life to the Chamber Family by hosting the ribbon cutting.
Now a little about Colonial Life :
“In 1937, Edwin F. Averyt and J. Clifton Judy started Mutual Accident Company in Columbia, South Carolina and sold their first product – accidental death coverage. Their first sales team was comprised of mostly local women. They could relate to the struggles others were going through and talk with them about their financial protection needs.
In 1939, the company became Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company. The mission then was the same as it is today – to help America’s workers preserve and protect the vitally important things they work so hard to build.
Today Colonial Life has 15 offices in Alabama and we are proud to announce the opening of our newest office in the Shoals area to help employers lower their cost of business and retain quality employees.”
