MADISON-On May 26, 2016, at approximately 8:30 pm, Madison Police Officers responded to a collision on Old Madison Pike involving a pedestrian fatality. The collision occurred near the intersection of Old Madison Pike and Crestview Drive. Emergency personnel transported the pedestrian to the Huntsville Hospital Emergency Department. The MPD extends our deepest sympathies to the family.
Madison Police have identified the pedestrian involved in last night’s fatality collision as 20 year-old John Christopher Jones-Salter of Madison, Alabama, who was transported to Huntsville Hospital when a vehicle driven by 25 year-old Warren Mason of Huntsville struck him on Old Madison Pike.
The collision is still under investigation and no further information is available for release at this time, however, additional information will be provided as soon as it is available for release.
