Angel Alonso, age 76, of Florence, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, from noon-2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. The mass will follow at 2 p.m. A private burial is scheduled at a later time.
A native of Spain, Angel was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He retired from Reynolds Metals and continued working with Wise Alloys until retiring in 2013.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Andres and Lucia Alonso, and brother, Federico Alonso.
Survivors are his wife, Lorraine Alonso; children, Cindy Hatfield (Bob Bliss, partner and Stan Hatfield, former spouse), Andrew Alonso (Danielle Snoddy, former partner) and Michael Alonso (Shayna Beth Glasgow, fiancé); sisters, Ester Alonso and Elsa Alonso; grandchildren, Austin, Zeppelin and Aly Beth.
