William Donald Weatherford, (Bill) of Muscle Shoals, Alabama departed this life on Saturday, July 21, 2012. He is the son of the late John L. Weatherford, Jr. and Bettye Guy Weatherford of Florence, Alabama. Bill was born in Columbia, Tennessee and lived the majority of his life in the Muscle Shoals area. He is survived by two sons, William Lucas Weatherford and wife Mylesa of Calera, Alabama and John Chase Weatherford and wife Stephanie of Muscle Shoals, Alabama; two grandchildren, Mabrie Weatherford and Peyton Weatherford; two brothers, Bob Weatherford and wife Lori of Acworth, Georgia and his twin brother, Ed Weatherford, and wife Anita of Moulton, Alabama. Bill owned and operated Weatherford’s Heating and Air for many years and enjoyed his relationship with his many customers, family, and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, July 23, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Brother Eric Brown and Brother Clinton Busler will officiate the service. Pall Bearers will be Bill’s close friends. Visitation will be in the church Sanctuary at 11:00 AM, with the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. The family will have a private grave side service at Colbert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
