Casey Scheele, age 58 of Henderson, TN passed away Thursday March 17, 2016 at home after a long battle with cancer. Casey was born June 18, 1957 in Louisville, KY. He made his thirty plus career as a Barge/Towboat Captain.
He is survived by a son, Jarrod Scheele of Gulf Breeze, FL, a daughter, Taylor Scheele of Henderson, TN a stepson, Ash Bowers (Jennifer) of Fairview, TN and a stepdaughter, Brandi Bowers of Henderson, TN, four grandchildren, Haley and Wesley Hardwick and Elan and Finley Bowers and his wife and best friend, Cindy Parrott. He is also survived by his mother, Lucille Scheele of Luray and three brothers, Danny Scheele (Karen) of Crump, TN, Mike Scheele (Bonita) of Pinson, TN and Jeff Scheele (Denise) of Highlands, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Scheele.
He was a member of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Scott Bloodworth officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery at Jacks Creek, TN.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday.
