Three Arrested One Suspect At Large In Decatur Drug Bust

DECATUR-After numerous complaints concerning possible drug sales on Kelly Avenue in Decatur the Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit arrested three suspects and are looking for one more:

“During the months of February and March, 2016 members of the Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit received numerous complaints concerning the sales of cocaine on Kelly Avenue SW Decatur, Al. The citizen complaints consisted of heavy traffic due to what they believed to be narcotics distribution.
Investigators began their investigaton and were able to determine the sources of the drug traffic were the residents located at 2405 Kelly Avenue apartment A and 2404 Kelly Avenue apartment #4. Investigators were able to obtain a search warrant for both locations.
On March 2, 2016 members of the Decatur Police Department and Madison-Morgan HIDTA, executed the narcotics search warrants simotaneously at both locations. While making entry into one of the residences, one of the suspects attempted to discard a MAC-11 machine pistol, a quantity of crack cocaine, and a quantity of synthetic cannabinoids (spice) through and open window. All suspects were detained safely without further incident.
During the search, large quantities of powder cocaine and crack cocaine were located. Marihuana, Spice, and drug paraphernalia were also seized. Numerous firearms were also located throughout the residences. The firearms located consisted of multiple pistols and an assault rifle.
Investigators made contact with Stevlon Tucker aka “ep ep”, Promise Sykes, and Rachelle Fuqua.
Stevlon Tucker was placed under arrest for 2 counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance, 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Possession of Marihuana 2nd Degree. Tucker was transported to the Decatur City Jail where he was booked and held. Tucker was later transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $16,000.00 bond.
Promise Sykes was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marihuana 1st Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Sykes was transported to the Decatur City Jail where she was booked and held. Sykes was later transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $5,500.00 bond
Rachelle Fuqua was placed under arrest for Possession of Marihuana 2nd Degree. Fuqua also had an active warrant through the City of Decatur for False Name to a Law Enforcement Officer. Fuqua was transported to the Decatur City Jail where she was booked and held on a $1,000.00 bond.
Larondrick Macklin aka “Dreads” was also developed as a suspect and is currently wanted by the Decatur Police Department for Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
