This year’s theme is ‘Athens Choice Awards’ and the show dates are March 11, 12, and 13 at the Senior Center.  The Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 p.m. with dinner and the Sunday show is a lunch matinée with the show beginning at 2 p.m.

Tickets go on sale weekdays from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day at the Athens Senior Center.  You can also purchase tickets at the Athens Senior Center on Monday evenings from 5:30 untill 7:30 p.m.  The cost of tickets are $35 which includes your meal from the 306 BBQ.

This is a variety show where local leaders and some-what talented folks known as the Prime Time Players perform crazy skits and spoof shows, songs, local issues and more. This year’s skits include a spoof of the Hospice of Limestone County Chili Challenge, city and county officials rapping live to the song “Rapper’s Delight,” and a local version of Athens Family Feud.

The show is a fundraiser for the Limestone County Foundation for Aging. It is directed by Stacey Givens.
