FRanklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver Reports Jerry Wayne Cotham, 78 who had been reported missing, has been found in Rome, Georgia.

He has been taken to the hospital where he appears to alright.  Authorties are having him checked out after wrecking his truck.

FRANKLIN COUNTY-Franklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver has for the public’s help in finding a missing person.  Here is a statement issued by the Franklin county sheriff’s Office:

“The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for Jerry Cotham, 78, who was reported missing on franklin dementia auto2/8/2016.

Mr. Cotham was last seen at Willie’s Gas Station located at the intersection of Highway 243 and Highway 81 in the East Franklin Community at approximately 10am-Noon.

Mr. Cotham was driving a 2008 Ford F150 extended cab pickup, gray in color. At the time that he was last seen, Mr. Cotham had an unknown male subject in the truck with him. Family also stated that Mr. Cotham also has mild dementia.”
