Britney LaKay Alexander, 14, of Rienzi, MS, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Le Bonheur Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was born on December 12, 2001 to Bobby and Tracy Alexander. Britney was a member of Rienzi Baptist Church and was in the 7th grade at Pathway Christian Academy. Her smile lit up a room. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Britney loved to shop and go on vacations. Her warm heart drew everyone close. She was a blessing to everyone who knew her. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 PM on Thursday, January 21, 2016 and 8:30 AM until service time on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Britney’s life will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 22, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Bro. Titus Tyer, Bro. Mickey Trammel, Bro. David Basden and Dustin Alexander. Interment will follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Kerry Gates, Austin Gates, Jimmy Crowe, Larry Rencher, Ben Miller, Brad Pfeiffer and Bryce Bullard. Magnolia Funeral Home is caring for the family.
