Dennis Howard Call age 58, of Florence, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Saturday, July 21 at Christ Chapel of Florence. The service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Pastor E.M. Doc Shell officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m., Monday, July 23 at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama.
Mr. Call belonged to the family of Christ Chapel, was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of Local #760 Plumbers and Steamfitters Association. Preceding him in death were his parents, Roy Lee and Lois Call; and brother, David Call.
Survivors, Loving wife of 37 years, Raynea Call; Children, Heather Call Potts and Hali Megan Call; Grandchildren, Liv Potts and Reese Potts; Sisters, Linda Boone (Gene) and Connie Raffield (Mike); Sister-in-Law, Linda Call; Several Nieces and Nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the American Cancer Society .
