Businessman, Bill Bowers, 73, passed away on November 26, 2015 after an extended illness. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
He attended Cornersville High School and Austin Peay College where he played football. He retired from IBM and after moving to the Shoals, he became the IBM Dealer for North Alabama. He also owned several businesses and was a real estate broker, here in the Shoals, and in Orange Beach.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bill, Sr. and Helen Bowers from Cornersville, TN.
Survivors include his two sons, Mark (Deanna) and Brian (Michelle) and three grandchildren, Brandon, Lori Beth and Abby; along with nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Scott Lyndon for being with Bill on his last days here on earth
