TUSCUMBIA-The Alabama Music Hall of Fame has announced the inductees for 2016 and there are ties to The Shoals with the induction of The Muscle Shoals Horns and Sheffield native Donna Jean Godchaux MacKay.
The entire list of inductees are Donna Jean Godchaux Mackay former member of The Grateful Dead, The Muscle Shoals Horns, keyboardist Chuck Leavell , the rock band Wet Willie and producer Johnny Sandlin. The list was released by the AMHOF today, November 18.
The banquet is set to be held once again in Florence at the Marriott Shoals Hotel & Spa on February 26. Tickets have not yet gone on sale. Last years awards banquet was held in Florence and was sold out raising over $80,000 for the AMHOF.
