Lucy Carolyn Plemmons age 93 of Guntersville, Alabama passed away Tuesday October 20, 2015 at Harbor Chase Assistant Living in Huntsville Alabama. She is survived by her Sons: Harvey Dee (Belinda) Plemmons, and William Rodrick (Sarah) Plemmons, Grandchildren: Deanne (Lance) Farris, Alyssa Plemmons, Kaitlyn Plemmons, Scott (Erica) Plemmons. Great Grandchildren: Emily Farris, Caroline Farris. She is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Plemmons, brothers, Ernest Newman, and Ret. Col George E. Newman. Ms. Plemmons served in the United States Army Nurses Core during WWII. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Guntersville where she loved to rock babies at the church. In addition Ms. Plemmons enjoyed crocheting, flowers, and sewing. Visitation will be Thursday October 29, 2015 from12:00- 2:00 PM with service following in the Chapel at 2:00. Burial will follow at Crestview Mausoleum.
