Mildred Imogene Collins – Obituary

Mrs. Mildred Imogene Collins, 89, of Florence, passed away on October 12, 2015 at her home.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Stan Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Collins; son, Anthony Collins.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Tate (Kendall) of Rogersville; sister, Billie Carmack of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, James William Anthony Collins (Jala Sisk), Thomas Joshua Collins, Colin Garrett Tate, Alyx Tate, Jason Williams; great-grandchildren, Zoey Michelle Mooney.

Active pallbearers will be Kendall Tate, Colin Tate, Jimmy Collins, T.J. Collins, Rod Wallace, Phillip Wellington, and Steve Potts.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Zahnd, Bobby Adams, and Randy White.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Brad Ginevan and Tammy at Shoals Primary Care; Beth and Shannon at Alacare Hospice; Deborah with Home Helpers and the ECM ER staff and 6 West along with Dr. Namako and Dr. Holden.

The family would also like to send a very special thank you to, Cassie Mosher, a family caregiver and friend for all of her love and support. Words cannot thank you enough for all that you have done.
