FLORENCE-Main Street Florence and the Florence Foodies are hosting a Special Event … a 5 course dinner in the art of a cold kitchen including wine pairings for 3 of the courses. The Chef for the evening
will be Chef Alan Phillips owner of the Red Clay Epicurean. The event will be Thursday, September 24 from 6:30 pm until 8:30pm at Pickett Place located at 438 North Seminary Street in Florence. Tickets are $48.00 and can be purchased at Main Street Florence. Seating is limited to 50.
The ingredients for this meal come directly from Jack O’Lantern Farm, a hydroponic farm not 5 miles from downtown. The wines can also be purchased locally. There will be a guest speaker for the event, Lauderdale County Extension Coordinator Heidi Tilenius.
Chef Phillips is the Executive Chef and owner at Red Clay Epicurean. He studied at CSCA Le Cordon Bleu and does upscale catering from The Red Clay located in Sheffield.
