Mrs. Chenault was born June 11, 1927 and grew up in Lawrence County. Affectionately known as “Memaw” she was often found digging in the dirt planting her tomatoes and flowers. She found great joy in spending time with her family and talking about “the good old days.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Claude Chenault; three brothers, Lewis Lee Gibson, James Herschel Gibson and John Henry Gibson; and five sisters, Lillian Smith, Edith Mitchell, Lorine Hill, Melanie Hill and her beloved daughter, Patsy Lucille.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Melanie Marsh (Dan) and Kelly Stewart (Scott); one grandson, Josh Bartlett (Jarah); and five great-
grandchildren, Grace, Jack, Aleah, Sophie and Shepherd.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
