Rosa-Nethery-1440144404Rosa Mae Nethery, 79, of Corinth, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Alcorn County, MS on February 14, 1936 to the late Jimmy and Sue Lee Scott and was a graduate of Kossuth High School. She retired with 25 years of service as an assembly line worker with ITT. She was a member of Lorraine Baptist Church, enjoyed camping and fishing but her greatest love was in being a faithful and devoted wife and mother to her family and her Lord. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 PM Saturday, August 22, 2015 and from 1 PM till service time Sunday, August 23,2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Rosa Mae’s life will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Rev. Keith Driskell and Rev. Randy Isabell. Interment will follow at Nethery Family Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is caring for the family. Those left to honor Rosa Mae’s memory include her husband: Rev. T.E. Nethery of Corinth, MS; her son: Rev. Trent Nethery and wife Debbie of Corinth, MS; her daughter: Kristie Teague and husband Chris of Ramer, TN; a son-in-law: Rory Young of Corinth, MS; 8 grandchildren: Rev. Trent Nethery Jr. and wife Wendy, Shellie Chunn and husband Randy, Rusty Faulkner, Courtney Young, Rory Dale Young II, Chassidy Teague, Vivian Teague and Mollie Kate Teague; 4 great-grandchildren: Jayce Null and husband Dustin, Callee Jones, Devinn Smullins and Eli Hill; 2 great-great grandchildren: Brylen Jase Null and Braxton Wayne Null; a sister: Brenda Harkleroad of Ocean Springs, MS; a sister-in-law: Priscilla Scott of Slydell, LA; other relatives, and a host of friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter: Kaffie Young and her brother: James Earl Scott. Online condolences may be expressed at magnoliafuneralhome.net.
