Three Finalist Vying For Florence-Lauderdale Tourism Director

florence lauderdale tourismFLORENCE-The Florence-Lauderdale Tourism board members have narrowed down the process for finding a director of tourism to replace Debbie Wilson, who left her position as tourism director to work for the state tourism department of Alabama to three candidates.   They are Alison Stanfield, 44 of Florence, Rob Carnegie, 47 of Kingston, Canada, and Joe Saling, 54 of Birmingham.

The board will conduct interviews of the three on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.  Monday, August 10  Carnegie will interview followed by Saling on Tuesday and Stanfield will have the final interview on Wednesday, August 12.

 

Carnegie-Currently director of Tourism Marketing & Development Kingston Economic Developent Coropration.
Saling- Hospitality Sales Management Leader for both Ross Bridge Marriott and Marriott Shoals
Stanfield- Current interim director of Florence-Lauderdale Tourism.
