John S. Lard, Jr., 70, of Waterloo, AL, passed away July 25, 2015 at E.C.M. Hospital. He was a carpenter and an avid fisherman.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Lard was preceded in death by his father, John S. Lard, Sr.; brother, Roy Lard; sisters, Donna Morgan, Janice Mize.
He is survived by his mother, Verna Ruth Lard; son, Mark Anthony Lard; daughter, Tina Michelle Woodliff; brothers, Jerry Lard (Midge), Dennis Lard; sisters, Gayle Pigg (Howard), Pat Selby (Roland), Charlotte Robertson (Levi), Jackie Senn, Cheryl Young (Jim), Bonnie Green (Barnie), Regina Lard; grandchildren, Austyn Woodliff, Kaila Brumlow, Jamie and Kimberly Lard; great-grandchildren, Xzander, Payton, Cooper, Brantley, and Ryker Brumlow

John just want to say both my boy’s and I always loved coming to yours and Shirley’s house. When Friday evening’s came we were ready to hit the road headed to Huntdville. Jeremy loved all of yall so much. But now your going to be with Jeremy and yall can talk about old times. Please tell Jeremy I love and miss him with every breath I take. You both Fly High. I really wish i could have seen you more Pa. I will always remember all the fun times we had, and even the ones I don’t remember from when I was real little but I will always know and can relive those times through the memories of others. I love you and miss you so much. Love always your granddaughter
