FLORENCE-Genghis Grill located in Florence at 2893 Florence Boulevard held their grand opening and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, July 21. The Shoals Chamber was along to help with the festivities and ribbon cutting. Even though the day was hot the grill was hotter and a good time was had by all.

“Genghis Grill, the premier build your own stir-fry chain, is well-known for its fresh, hot and healthy food, and for its style of fun service. Fans head over to the Fresh Market Bar where they are greeted with an array of more than 80 delicious, fresh ingredients
from which they can build their own bowl. They then hand their bowl to our grill masters who cook their creation to perfection on a large, sizzling, circular grill. Currently, there are 90 locations in 22 states nationwide.
Our local franchisees bring a combined 60 years of food experience supervising numerous restaurant chains such as Rally’s, Arby’s, and Huddle Houses as well as ownership of several hotel chains.
“We’re excited to be involved in bringing Genghis Grill into the Florence area,” say Valorie Vickrey. “We love the unique Bulid-Your-Own-Bowl concept and think it will be a big hit in North Alabama. We’re hoping to open as many as 5 more locations in the next few years.”
