Arrests Made In Weekend Shooting

DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department has issued an UPDATE on the shooting that took place on July 5th injuring three people.

Here is the statement issued by the Decatur PPolice Department:

“SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:
On the morning of July 5th, 2015 at approximately 4:45 am the Morgan County E911 Center received a call that multiple people had been shot at the “Street Fury” Motorcycle Club house, located at 703 12th Avenue Northwest. Multiple Officers with the Decatur Police Department responded to the scene and discovered that three individuals had been shot. The victims had been transported to a local hospital by private vehicle.

responded to the scene and began an investigation into the shooting. During the course of the investigation it was discovered that two females had been involved in a verbal argument in the parking lot of the clubhouse. After the parties involved in the argument had been separated, Norris J. Guillot produced a handgun and began firing into a crowd of people. After firing numerous rounds, Norris fled the scene.
The Decatur Police Department, along with the Cullman County Sherriff’s Office began searching for Guillot. Today, after an exhaustive search, Guillot contacted the Cullman County Sherriff’s Office and turned himself in. He was transferred to the custody of the Decatur Police Department and transported to the Decatur City Jail where he was booked in for three counts of Assault in the 1st Degree. Morgan County Circuit Judge Jennifer Howell set Guillot’s bond at $100,000.00 for each charge, with an aggregate bond of $300,000.00. Guillot will be transferred to the Morgan County Jail.
During this investigation it was determined that Mario Gibson, the “Street Fury” Motorcycle Club president had intentionally misled Police as to his knowledge of the offender and his knowledge of the event. On July 6th, 2015 Gibson was arrested for Hindering Prosecution in the 1st Degree and transferred to the Morgan County Jail with no bond. At the time of the offense Gibson was out on bond for an unrelated drug charge.”
