Charles Louie Holley, 86, of Corinth, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Baptist East Hospital – Memphis, TN. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a member of Oakland Baptist Church and was employed with Hudson Pulp and Paper Mill in Palatka, FL and Holley’s Feed and Seed in Crescent City, FL for 20 years. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 PM on Saturday, July 4, 2015 and from 1 PM till service time on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Dr. Randy Bostick. Interment will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens in Palatka, FL. Pallbearers include Buddy Hall, Raymond Carr, Clarence Burleson, Chris McCoy, Rob McCoy and Craig Hall. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Mavis McCoy Holley of Corinth, MS; his sons: Charles William Holley of Moscow, ID and Paul Lawrance Holley of Athens, GA; two grandchildren: Christopher Louis Holley and wife Kathy and Sarah Elizabeth Holley; a great grandchild: Ethan Holley; a brother: Don H. Holley and wife Joan of Palatka, FL; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law: Susan Holley, his parents: Louie Oscar and Ruby Estelle Rich Holley; a sister: Martha Jo Joyner.
