J.C. “Shaq” Blakley – Obituary

J.C. “Shaq” Blakley age 68 of Athens, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Blakley was born June 5, 1947 in Limestone County, AL to George A. Blakley and Della Sims Blakley.

Graveside services will be Monday, June 29, 2015 2:00 p.m., at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.

Survived by two sons, Brandon Blakley and wife, Bobbie and Jason Blakley and wife, Angela; 5 grandchildren; one brother, James “Tootsie” Blakley; numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Larry Clements, Travis Austell, Bradley Austell and Brandon Blakley.
