Mary Louise Clemons Rutherford, 86 of Union Grove died Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Crestwood Medical Center, Huntsville surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Rutherford was born September 15, 1928 in Marshall County, the daughter of R. D. and Mary Dessie Gibbs Clemons. She was married 66 wonderful years to a loving husband, Hubert Leon Rutherford and has called the Union Grove area her home for most of her lifetime. She was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church and had retired several years ago from Starnes and Starnes Attorneys as a Legal Secretary.
Louise is survived by her husband: Hubert Leon Rutherford; a daughter and son-in-law: Mary Ann and Max Henry; a son and daughter-in-law: Bill and Elaine Rutherford; three grandchildren and spouses: Mary Amanda Henry Hollaway (Stacy), Lee Henry (April) and Jessica Rutherford; four great grandchildren: Aaron Hollaway, Luke Hollaway, Brodie Henry and Sophie Henry; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Doris and Roy McGraw and Yvonne and Hubert Johnson; a brother and sister-in-law: Clayton and Joy Clemons and a brother-in-law: Hoyt Logan; preceded in death by a daughter: Wanda Lynn Rutherford, her parents: R. D. and Mary Dessie Gibbs Clemons and a sister: Virginia Logan.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother Mike Whitt and Brother Radford Pritchett, officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be David Clemons, Reggie McGraw, Tommy McGraw, John Rutherford, Steve Rutherford and George Stone. Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Johnson, Mike Johnson and Jessie Stone.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
