Clinton E. Skelton, 85 of Arab died Monday, June 8, 2015 in Marshall Medical Center North E. R.

Mr. Skelton was born June 21, 1929 in Cullman County, the son of Oscar and Josephine Feemster Skelton. He served his Country in the United States Army, Honorably Discharged as Captain. He was a graduate of Jacksonville State University and also a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was a lifetime resident of Arab, a member of Union Hill First Congregational Methodist Church and taught in the Arab City School system, retiring in 1986 after 28 years as a teacher. He and the former Mary Sue Marsh were married 58 years.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Sue Skelton; two daughters and a son-in-law: Deborah and Steve Almond and Lisa Sue Tubbs; four grandchildren and spouses: Christina Navarra (Tony), Melissa Younanian (Garett), Stephanie Marcano (Edgar) and Travis Tubbs; a brother and sister-in-law: Leon and Linda Skelton and preceded in death by a granddaughter: Deanna Leath.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother Jon Minyard and Brother Arthur Feemster, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.

Pallbearers will be Danny Dabbs, Max Harper, A. J. Price, Chris Sparks, Bobby Thomas, Travis Tubbs, Rudy Wooten and Garett Younanian.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
