Dorothy-Jean-Hall-1433254177Dorothy “Jean” Hall, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, June 02, 2015 at Fayetteville Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Jean was born on July 11, 1934 to the late Andrew Lee Bell and Annie Kate Long Bell Brown in Savannah, Georgia. Jean was a wonderful homemaker and cook. She often babysat her grandchildren Jordan and Raegan. She was known for her fudge, fried steak, and sweet potato pie. She loved the beaches, as a girl especially Folly Beach and Tybee Island. Jean enjoyed watching soap operas, specifically Days of our Lives and All my Children. She was of the Baptist faith.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Graveside services will immediately follow the visitation at Polk Memorial Gardens on June 4, 2015.

Jean is survived by her sons Alton “Skee” (Christy) Cargile Hall, Guy (Sherry) Allen Hall, and Shane (Stacey) Allen Hall; daughters Patricia Jean Woodlief, Michelle St. John, and Candace (John) Meyer; grandchildren Jordan Shelley, Raegan Shelley, Sarah Hall, Sophia Hall, Sean Hall, and several other grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by daughters Catherine Marie Hall Pullen and Kitty Ann Hall and several siblings.

Pallbearers will be Shane Allen Hall, John Meyer, Jordan Shelley, Wade Stanford, and Drew Dunlop.
