Untitled-1ST. FLORIAN-Ava’s Place held an open house and an old-fashioned ribbon cutting on Wednesday, May 13th.  The Shoals Chamber and friends showed up to enjoy the festivities and help with the celebration.  Ava’s Place is located at 5131 County Road 61 in Florence.  The food was great and the atmosphere was a throw-back to the good old days with dinner on the grounds and Southern Hospitality.   Here is just a little about Ava’s Place and what they have to offer:

“Spacious, rustic, inviting, and nostalgic are a few words used to describe Ava’s Place. Whether you are hosting a family reunion or a wedding, Kenneth and Gail Dawson have the facilities to make your special day memorable.

Ava’s Place is a fully renovated barn that serves as the focal point of any gathering. With its new addition in the works, the upper and lower level dining areas will accommodate up to 250 guests each. Tables and chairs are provided at no extra cost. Kitchen facilities are located convenient to the dining area. Restroom facilities are available on each level, and ample parking is available for your guests.

Come take a step back in time in this gorgeous barn where elegance meets rustic! Kenneth and Gail, the Shoals Chamber is pleased to have you are a partner in our team. May your barn doors forever swing open for customers for years to come.”

The Shoals Chamber was on hand to capture all the festivities in photos.  We present them to you here:
