Funeral service for James “Jim” Monroe Schrimsher , age 58, of Hartselle will be Wednesday April 29, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Taylor and Bro. Nathan Green officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Schrimsher will lie in state on Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will be at Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Schrimsher died Saturday April 25, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born May 2, 1956 in Illinois to Carl Monroe Schrimsher and Martha Margaret Johns Schrimsher. Mr. Schrimsher was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, David Schrimsher.
