Maurine Johnson White – Obituary

Maurine Johnson White, 86 of the Hulaco Community, Joppa died Sunday, April 12, 2015 in Woodland Village, Cullman.

Mrs. White was born January 13, 1929 in Marshall County, the daughter of Benjamin W. and Betty E. Cranford Johnson. She was a homemaker and had lived in the Hulaco Community for most of her life. She was a member of Simcoe United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband: Loyd James White and a grandchild.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: L. B. and Joyce White, Randy and Janett White and Tony and Kathaleen White; five daughters and sons-in-law: Joyce Maze, Bobbie and Elgin Guthrie, Patricia and J. C. Smith, Martha and Daniel Freeman and Rita and Gary Young and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother Tony Tomas, officiating with eulogy by Brad Howard. Burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
