Thurman Gray Bogle, age 84, of the McMahan Community in Cannon County, passed away Wednesday April 8, 2015 at Vanderbilt Hospital. He was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include his children, Debbie (Horace) Hamilton of Atlanta, Sherrell Blankenship of Donelson, & Anthony Darrell Bogle of Ft. Myers, FL; Grandchildren, Jason & David Hamilton, Dustin & Jessica Blankenship, Victor Anthony Bogle, and Nicky & Jenny Carter; Great Grandchildren, Reece & Reagan Hamilton, Landon, Aubrey, & Kailynn Corbett, Elizabeth Blankenship & Jonathan, and Audrey & Logan; Brothers, Elvis Bogle of Nashville & Floyd Bogle of Franklin; Step Grandchildren, Tommy, Christy, Shannon, Eddie, & Buddy; Very Special Friend, Edith Miller & her son, Darrell; and Papaw to Erica & Jared.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas & Bertha Pittman Bogle; wife, Eula Bogle; step-daughters, Glenda & Sandy; brothers, Medford, Clifford, Paul, Brady, & G.W. Bogle; and step-grandchild, Michael Ramey.

Mr. Bogle was a member of the Red Hill Church of Christ & was a Veteran of the Army where he served in the Korean War. He was a drywall finisher, a farmer, and a member of the Cannon County Farmer’s Market.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, April 12, 2015 with Bro. Eddie Duke officiating. Interment will follow at McMahan Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 8 PM Saturday, April 11, 2015.
