THE SHOALS-Three chances for you to be involved with “Keeping The Shoals Beautiful” in the month of April.
There was over 3,640 pounds of trash removed last year. You can do your part to outdo that number this year in Florence. Keep The Shoals Beautiful along with The City Of Florence and The Shoals Chamber are hosting a city-wide clean up on Saturday, April 18th from 8 a.m. until noon. Meet at the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum and be a part. Call 256.760.6495 for more information on this project.
Also on Saturday, April 18th there will be a “Cypress Creek Cleanup from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. visit Volunteer Spot for more information on this cleanup also sponsored by KTSB and The City of Florence.
There is also a cleanup being organized in the St. Florian area. If you are interested in helping, please contact Judy Keenum at 256.764.4661 and she will make sure you get the information about5 this cleanup when plans are final.
