Eight blind students at a South Korean school were given their own special version of a yearbook that can be “read” by using their hands thanks to 3D printers.
At The Seoul National School for the Blind students from the graduating class were given the unique opportunity to receive a “Touchable Yearbook.” 3D TEK created statues of 8 blind students which allowed them to “see” the faces of their fellow classmates.
The students each got a bust of themselves and their friends that included very detailed faces. The busts also each came with a braille name tag, just like a yearbook photo would have the name underneath.
