Raymond Wilson Hickman Jr., age 58, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his home.
Raymond was born on March 5, 1956 to Raymond Wilson Hickman Sr. and Alice Sweeney. Raymond loved to ride horses and loved to race. He cherished spending time and playing with his grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Funeral services to celebrate Raymond’s life will be on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Raymond is survived by his children Bobby (Michelle) Joe Hickman Sr. of Mt. Pleasant, Debra Diane Hickman of Summertown, and Chesney Anne Hickman; mother Alice Hickman; grandsons Bobby Joe Hickman Jr., Danny Ray Hickman, and Austin Hickman; granddaughters Haley Hickman, Elizabeth Burke, and Brianna Burke; brothers and sisters Ruby (Eddie) McKennon, Dorothy (Ray) Stagg, James Hickman, and Paul Hickman; special brother-in-law Eddie McKennon; special nephew Bubba McKennon.
Raymond was preceded in death by his son Colby Brooks Hickman; father Raymond Wilson Hickman Sr.; and grandson Billy Bob Hickman.
Pallbearers Brad Pugh, Eddie McKennon, Bubba McKennon, Jeff Owns, Donald Collins, and Ronnie Ashworth.
