MORGAN COUNTY-On Tuesday, December 16th with the assistance of the FBI and Madison/Morgan County Drug Team executed a Search Warrant in Somerville. Here is how Sheriff Ana Franklin describes events leading up to the arrests:
“On Tuesday, December 16, 2014, Agents with the Morgan County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the FBI and Madison/Morgan Counter Strategic Drug Team, executed a Search Warrant at 29 Water Tower Rd. in Somerville, Al. Agents entered the residence at approximately 4:30 pm and made 
contact with homeowner, Patrick Whisenant (w/m 46) and friend Jill Bledsoe (w/f 48). Agents executed search warrant locating approximately 4 ounces of “Ice” Crystal Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia items. Agents also seized approximately $2,800.00 in US Currency, believed to be proceeds of drug sales. Agents arrested Patrick Whisenant charging him with Trafficking in 
Methamphetamine.
Bond set at $750,000.00 by Circuit Court Judge Howell. Jill Bledsoe was arrested and charged with Loitering in a Drug House. Bond set at $300.00.
***Agents are seeking Heather Golden (w/f 34) who has an outstanding arrest warrant with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office for Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
