Funeral services for Herbert Tolley, age 86, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, November 22, 2014 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Micah Renfroe and Bro. Chris Young officiating with burial to follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Mr. Tolley passed away Wednesday in Parsons, TN. Mr. Tolley was Retired Pipeliner for 56 years, known to his coworkers as “Tennessee Tolley” with local Union #798 , Tulsa, OK, a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, a member of Cheap Valley Masonic Lodge, and long time Cattle Farmer. Martin Herbert Tolley Jr. was born May 9, 1928 in Darden, Tn. to the late Herb and Zula Carrington Tolley. Survivors include two sons -Marty Tolley (Pam) of Darden, Tn. Steve Tolley of Jackson, Tn. and one daughter -Becky Cash (Jackie) of Jackson, Tn. four grandchildren- Crystal Tolley Bowman, Mark Tolley (Lindsay), Caleb Gordon, and Winston Gordon. and three great grandchildren- Camryn, Kaylee and Duke. He was preceded in death by three sisters- Dorothy Holcomb, Norsie Frost and Grace McClorey.
