The 3rd Annual Come Home To Cherokee For Christmas To Be Held December 6th

IMG_4497-copyCHEROKEE–  The 3rd Annual Come Home to Cherokee for Christmas, sponsored by Cherokee Creative Curb Appeal will be held on Saturday, December 6th.

From 8 am until 10 am there will be Breakfast with Santa, sponsored by the Lions Club @ the Lions’ Den this event is free .  From 8am until 2 pm there will be baked goods for sell at CB&S Community Room all baked goods are baked locally.  There will also be Arts, Crafts Authors and Food Vendors located downtown unless there is inclement weather and then the location will be moved to the Cherokee United Methodist Church.  IMG_4610-copy

Some of the food you can purchase….or just eat as you stroll the vendors …Smores from the Smore Pit, funnel cakes, gater tators Kona Ice with Hamburgers, hot dogs, smoked bologna sandwiches Sue and Dennis Deaton.  Cornbread and beans The Cherokee Baptist Church (this is their mission trip fundraiser).

From 10 am until 1 pm there will be local live musical entertainment at IMG_4670-copyDown On The Corner.  The Emcee for this music will be Pastor Tony Datuin.  There will be free horse drawn carriage rides for all with Darrel Nunley and Pride.

The event we have all been waiting for will be the Christmas Parade with Santa starting at 2 pm Starting at the Cherokee Elementary School and proceeding through downtown.  The Grand Marshals for the parade for 2014 are Jimmy Payne and Nicky Medford.
