The Keynote speaker for the evening was Joe Fields a man who is a serial entrepreneur, having been a part of several successful start-up businesses.  But Joe Fields was not the only person on hand with big entrepreneurial ideas the event had 32 entrants each having 3 minutes to pitch their ideas.  There could only be one winner and that title was given to Andy Alonso and Brandon Gillis for their startup business, PartCycle.  The business is an online resource for businesses and people to buy and sell used auto parts.  The business has been open and running for 19 months.  But according to Gillis and Alonso this event gave them not only funding for their fledgling business but a chance to let the public know about their venture.
