FLORENCE- Mayor Mickey Haddock and the Shoals Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the State Of The
Mayor Mickey Haddock
City program will be held on Wednesday, October 22, at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center. Mayor Haddock, along with Dr. Janet Womack, Superintendent of the Florence City Schools; Dr. John G. Thornell, Interim President of the
University of North Alabama; Forrest Wright, Executive Director of the Shoals Economic Development Authority; and Steve Holt, President of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce, will give updates on the status and future of the City and their organizations. The presentation will be from 12:00 non until 1:00 p.m. There is no charge to attend the presentation. Representatives will be available from the City of Florence departments and the presenting organizations for questions or additional information before and after the presentation.
A luncheon will be held prior to the presentation for those who registered for the luncheon.
Mayor Haddock is very optimistic about the future of Florence and invites everyone to join for this special event.
