Edna Earl WolfeAî;‚wºvEdna Earl Wolfe departed this life on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the age of 87 years, 3 months, 2 days.

She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 26, 1927, the daughter of the late Wilson Earl Spears and Ollie Mae Kelley Spears. On December 18, 1942, she was united in marriage to James B. Wolfe, Sr., who proceeded her in death on October 1,1987.

Mrs. Wolfe was employed as a Floor Clerk for Fred’s Dollar Store for 15 years. She was also a Pastor’s Wife from the years 1957 to 1987. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee and a strong supporter of biblical Bible schools. She was very giving and caring towards others, a great witness, and a compassionate woman. While she lived in Hardin County for most of her life, she has also lived in Heber Springs, Arkansas for 14 years and lived some of her life in McNairy County.

She is survived by her children, James B. Wolfe, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, and Rebecca Templeton and her husband, Jimmy, of Selmer, Tennessee; her five sisters, Betty Miller of Jackson, Tennessee, Barbara Williams, Nancy Prater, and Katherine Hinton, all of Savannah, Tennessee, and her brother James Spears of Stantonville, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Jennifer Murphy, Nicklaus Wolfe, Jai Templeton, and Torrey Templeton; six great-grandchildren, Bridget Murphy, Ben Murphy, Brooke Murphy, Ellie Templeton, Gracie Crane, and Alex Crane; and three step great-grandchildren, Mycalea Smith, Cannon Smith, Eliza Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Wolfe Sr., one brother, W. E. Spears, one sister Frankie Nell Spears, and one special friend, Hazel Sowder.
