SHEFFIELD-The Tim Horton Fishing for Kids fishing rodeo on Pickwick Lake Saturday, out of Riverfront Park in Sheffield, September 27 once again brought huge smiles to the faces of the anglers and the volunteers who came from throughout northwest Alabama and surrounding states to help. It was the 16th year for the event that Horton, professional angler and outdoors television personality, began as a way to share his love of fishing and the outdoors with children and adults with special needs.
The Quad Cities was on hand with reporter and photog Dennis Sherer to capture the moment in pictures.
