Jimmy Earl Williams – Obituary

Jimmy Earl Williams, 75, died Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. He was born October 4, 1938, to Morton and Emma Lee Stockton Williams. He worked for over 20 years at Genesco and retired as a salesman from Darrell Harp Enterprises. He enjoyed working around the house, and he loved his family. He was a born-again believer with his name in the Book of Life.

Services will be at 4 p. m. Sunday, September 21, at the McNeece–Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Keith Hood, Bro. Michael Brand, Bro. James Segars, and Bro. Dwayne Wells officiating. Burial will be in the Bounds Cemetery. McNeece – Morris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Zereda Williams of Fairview; one son, Jerry Williams (Mikki) of Linden, TN; one daughter, Sherry Moore (Joey) of Belmont; two grandchildren, Justin Williams of Linden, TN, and Tess Moore of Belmont; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, James “Junior” Williams and Vester “Razz” Williams; one sister, Lester Wood; and his parents.

Visitation will be from 2 p. m. until service time Sunday at McNeece–Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
