Charles Austin Irons, age 71, of Florence, Alabama, died, Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014. The visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 20th from 6-9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Sunday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Wayne Wood will be officiating. Interment will be in Canaan Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Rich Irons; sons, Larry Marshal Irons, Charles Eric Irons, and Leslie Arron Irons; daughter, Monica Page Irons; brothers, Price Albert Irons II and Ricky Irons; sisters, Daisy Irons McIntyre, Elaine Irons McIntyre, and Patricia Irons Wooden, and 8 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Irons, Eric Irons, Leslie Irons, Adam Handback, Greg McIntyre, Jerry McIntyre, Mike Tank, and Caleb McIntyre. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Dobbs and David Hunter.
He was a loving husband, brother, dad, and grand-pa. He loved to sing gospel music
