FAIRGROUNDS – The weather was superb for the kickoff of this year’s edition of the North Alabama State Fair. It was a huge opening night! The Midway is in excellent shape this year with lots of fancy rides, grotesque half-woman half-animal thingamabobs, cotton candy, corn dogs… Oh yes the games of chance were in high gear too. Sure everybody wins!
