MarvinMarvin Edward Young, 80, of Tuscumbia passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2014. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2014 at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Brother Norman Rich officiating. Mr. Young is a native of Pickens County. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Young and parents, Walton and Lola Young. 
He is survived by his son, William Wade Young: stepsons, Harry (Carmen) Adams, Russ (Alesia) Foshee, Rob (Margaret) Foshee; stepdaughters, Nancy (Darren) Daugherty, Sherri (Danny) Hester; grandchildren, Elizabeth Young, Bradley Young, Dori Young, Chris (Chelsea) Cottles, Cody (Katie) Hester, Caleb Hester, Rusty Foshee, Austin Foshee, Jacob Foshee, Jason Foshee, Alex Foshee, Ashley Gilmore (Tony), Jessica Adams, Rachel Adams; and special friend and caregiver, Mary Bridgmon.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone at Hospice of Northwest Alabama for the care and love given.
