Three Suspects Arrested In Narcotics Bust

1DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department’s Special Operation’s Division was executing a narcotics search warrant at an address on 6th Ave. in Decatur on Monday, August 11th.  Here is how they describe the events leading up to the arrest of three suspects:

SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:

“On August 11, 2014 members of Decatur Police Department’s Special Operation’s 2Division executed a narcotics search warrant at 408 6th Ave NW.

While executing the search warrant the target,Brandon Tyree Dearing, was seen fleeing from the residence and was located a couple blocks away inside a white mini van. Officers Detained Dearing and the driver of the mini van, Ramsey Swoopes. Officers located Terrell Lanier Green at the residence.

After a search of the residence Investigators located a large amount of high grade Marijuana packaged for resale. Officers also located drug paraphernalia consistent 3with the sales of illegal narcotics.

Brandon Tyree Dearing was charged with Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest. He will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.

Terrell Lanier Greene was charged with Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering.

Ramsey Terron Swopes was charged with Resisting Arrest and was booked into the Decatur City Jail.”
